Yesterday in relief society we had a lesson on missionary work, and evils of the internet. It sounds like they wouldn’t really go together, but I’ll explain. We talked about how the internet can be a very wicked, but it can also be used for good. Elder Ballard gave a talk about how the internet is a conversation over the entire world, and we need to be a part of that conversation. We can put good out there. There are a lot of investigators out there who don’t just want to hear what the church is saying. They want to hear how it is affecting people, and how it would affect them.
The lesson turned to blogs, and the number of them. With blogs as a large communication tool in our society, it is also a good opportunity to be an example, and share our testimonies through our posts! Not very many people look at my blog, but you all do, and if you start to do the same thing it will spread! It's kinda scary, but it is my way of sharing.
I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church. There are a lot of good churches out there, but this is the true church of Jesus Christ. Our brother, Jesus Christ is the reason we can have faith in our heavenly father’s plan of salvation. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon, the power of the priesthood, the prophet and apostles we have today, and of the Holy Ghost. I know that we can be with our families together forever by keeping the covenants we make (or will make) in the temple. I am glad that I have the blessing to know the truth, and have the ability to share it with others. It’s not just a my privilege to share, but also my responsibility.
Here is the link to Elder Ballards talk on the media, and the influence we can have in it.

Check out my photography blog!!
So I have had a lot of fun with my camera the last little while. I posted some of my favorites on my photography site! The first batch are of a sunday drive I took with my great friend Wendi the last sunday I was up at school! Later that same day I went to DeAnna's, and took a bunch of pictures!
As I have said before I get pretty bored in the evenings so I go for walks. I decided to bring my camera along one day, and that is the third series of pictures!!

Time to Blog!
I must say that I was pretty excited that I would have more time to blog! I am stuck to my desk eight hours a day which would give me plenty of time to update you on my life right!? Yes, the fact that I have time to blog is correct, but because, I have time to blog means there is nothing to blog about!! Sheesh!!
All the same, here is the update I have. As simple as it may be, it is still an update! J
I am starting to get the hang of my job which is useful for the time that I actually do something! I have two cute little frogs on my desk that are very entertaining little buggers (I named them pickle, and peanut). Other than facebook, and my frogs I get to retrieve the mail! At work it is the highlight of my day!
Our house is pretty boring; so everyday when I come home from work I go for a walk to the park, and enjoy sitting by the river. I like any chance I can to get outside.
I don’t have much of a social life these days. I hang out with the few friends I stayed in contact with, and thrive on weekends! I talk to Tyler almost every day, and we try and hang out when we can. He leaves in just about a month! I am excited for him to go, but I sure am going to miss him.
Umm…yeah!!

Mt. West Title
Yesterday was my official day at work! It was super fun waking up early but I survived. I like my job so far. There is a ton of new information to learn but I think I will be able to catch on in not too much time! I am excited to be working with mom, even though Becky is stealing her for two weeks!
Today mom is too busy to be training me so I am pretty much just answering phones and trying to come up with things to do that look productive! He he I am typing this all up in word right now.
I came back this summer not real excited to be working, because I wouldn’t be able to hang out with my friends. BUT, I realized I didn’t stay in touch with that many people when I went to school, so I don’t have very many friends left. And the ones that I did stay in touch with are either, leaving on missions, working, or moving out of state! So I am glad to be working. I won’t be bored out of my mind!! The two days before I started working I was pretty much really bored!
